Tour in Albania

First day: Saranda

Arrival to Kakavia border. After the procedures at the border departure to Blue Eye Springs, a national and natural park. There are 18 springs and the Blue Eye is the biggest. After that we visit the Monastery of Mesopotami. In the afternoon visit the Castle of Saranda. It is 280 m high from the sea level. It is a wonderful panorama view and you can see all the city of Saranda. Accommodation in Hotel Butrinti 5***** Dinner at the “Paradise “ restaurant.

Second day: Vlora

Breakfast at 8.00. 9.00 departure to Butrinti an old town protected by UNESKO. You can see there different civilizations like: helenic, romans, venecian, bisantin. After that departure to Himara . It is a beautiful coast town very frequented during the summer. We are going to see all the Riviera between Saranda and Himara which is the most beautiful cost in Albania. Free time for swimming and then we continue our way to the city of Vlora. Accommodation in Hotel New Work 4****. Dinner at hotel.

Third day: Durres

Breakfast at 8.00. 9.00 departure to the city of Vlora after that continue our tour to the ancient Greek settlement of Apollonia – (founded in 588 BC) proceed to Ardenica – where is a medieval monastery surrounded by stonewalls. Continue our tour to the city of Durres. Accommodation in Hotel Adriatik 5***** Dinner at hotel.

Forth day:

Breakfast at 8.00 continue our tour to Durres– the ancient Greco-Roman port city of Dyrrachium. Formerly Durrazzo is one of the oldest towns in Albania. The legend says that it was founded by Epidamnos, the Illyrian King of the area, who called it by his own name and named the port area after his grandson - Dyrrah.Visit to the town including the Byzantine city walls, Roman amphitheater and the Archaeological Museum. After that continue our tour to the city of Gjirokastra known as “Museum City”. city where the dwelling houses have the form of medieval towers constituting a building ensemble with a characteristic architecture. After that departure to the border of Kakavija.

After the procedures at the border of Kapshrica we continue journey to Korca town.

First Day: Korca

Accommodation in Hotel “Iliria”. After the breakfast we continue our tour visiting old town, the bazaar with its houses built in the period of medievalism. Bratko museum with antiquary collections (pictures, imagery) which have a particularly value. Visit to Voskopoje, in south of town a medieval city with beautiful churches built in year 1500 and with a beautiful nature spectacular view. Return to the town. Diner in hotel.

Second Day: Pogradec

Accommodation in “Lyknidas Resort”. After the breakfast visit in city and old quarter when was born one of the great poet Lasgush Poradeci. Visit in Lin, peninsula inside the lake of Oheri continue 20 km in the north of the city visiting an mosaic of 4-th century after Christ in ruin of an old church. Visit in Tushemisht one of the beautiful sources of lake of Oheri. Return to the town. Diner in hotel.

Third Day: Gjirokaster-Sarande

After the breakfast we leave to Gjirokastra, a world heritage city , protected by UNESKO. We will visit there the Castle, the Museum at the Castle and the House of the dictator Enver Hoxha. After visit Gjirokastra we continue our way to Saranda. Accommodation in hotel. Diner in one of the best restaurant in the town.

Forth Day: Sarande

After the breakfast Departure in Butrinti an old town protected by UNESKO. They can see there different civilizations like: helenistic, roman, venetian, bisantin. Return to Saranda and than visit the Castle of Lekuresi from 14 century bisantin period after that visit to Blue Eye Springs, a national and natural park. there are 18 springs and the Blue Eye is the biggest. Departure to the border of Kakavija.
